First page is indexed than cached...

Cache is the certificate that Google provides to your webpage once the spiders crawl your webpage. Once you webpage is cached it is now ready for storing in search engine database which is called indexing. Therefore, caching occurs previous than indexing of any webpage.

Indexing means search engine optimization robot crawl the web pages, saved the information and it appear in the search engine optimization.
Caches pages are those when search engine bot or crawler come to your page or found any update on site

First crawling is done, then indexing and then its time to take a snapshot by Google called "Cache". For more deep understanding take this example,

Once you submit your website on GWT and your pages are crawled by the GoogleBots, Then Indexing happens, and not every page is indexed as you can see the crawled pages and Indexed pages are different. After Indexing, Google Keeps the record when it last crawled your website.

Google first index web page then perform caching process for that page

Firstly caching will be done & then indexing. When search engines look through the content on your website, they are crawling your site. As they crawl your site, they index content that will appear in the search engine. However, an important thing to remember is that not all content is indexed. Search engines pick what content they will and won't index as they go through the crawling process.

Crawling- Google sends its spiders to your website..
Indexing- Google visited your website and has added you to its database..

Caching- Google toook a snapshot of your website when it last visited and stored the data in case your website went down or if there are some any other issues.

Indexing is where search engine has crawled the web and ranks the URLs found using various criteria and places them in the database, or index.

First, Google spider crawling our website and check what is new update that is called caching.
And When site stored in the database of google it's called indexing
