Hi,

We are creating new real estate website from scratch. We need to decide the url structure of the site so that website ranking, seo and crawling is smooth.

Which is preferable?

www.sitename.com/super-category/category/sub-category/product-name

( e.g.: www.dwarkadeal.com/dwarka-dda/sector-2/plot-1a/celestial-height)

OR

www.sitename.com/super-category/productname-category

(e.g. www.dwarkadeal.com/dwarka-dda/celestial-heights-dwarka-sector-2)

OR

www.sitename.com/supercategory-category-subcategory-product-name
(e.g. www.dwarkadeal.com/Dwarka-dda-sector2-plot1a-celestialheightsaartidwarka)

OR any other way

Keep it simple and consistent.

Another important factor to keep in mind when it comes to keeping things simple is the length of your URL. Use short URLs (the shorter the better), as they tend to rank higher on Google's first page. Shorter URLs enhance the user experience, instill trust in the web browser, and are optimized for sharing. The recommended character length is listed at no longer than 2,083 characters max — and this is a generous number.

Generally speaking, directories, categories, and subfolders are much better to use than subdomains when it comes to fundamental URL structuring. This is because subdomains split authority. Search engines tend to classify subdomains as their own independent entities, which is not so great for SEO purposes

Do not include sub pages / categories in the URL. Try to place the sub pages, blog posts, right after the domain name.

Example: www.dwarkadeal.com/celestial-heights-dwarka-sector-2

Google usually read the first 100 character of the URL only.

Try to make it as simple as possible don't use URLs with lots of slashes its annoying and search engine only visualizes a limited character of your URL so don't make it unnecessarily lengthy.
