Do You SEO Your Name?

I am ranking pretty good for just my name and I was not even trying to Search Engine Optimize for that. I guess if you are promoting brands you wouldn't be pushing your name. However, neither was I and my name in Google is showing up high in rankings. I am promoting content I have personally written so it makes sense too a bit. But, I was surprised by this pleasant discovery today. Do you type your name into Google?

Fine-tune design, tweak on-page SEO and use your best writing. Make sure your profile has its own page. Use your name in the URL if possible. Use your name at the beginning of the title if possible.
