Ok I know google analytics is great for tracking traffic, keywords etc. But how exactly do you use it for SEO. Are there special features with it that allows you to really enhance your SEO Work. I use it in a very basic way and I know there are loads of cool reports.

What's the best part of analytics over other tracking software applications on the market ?

Well, you can't specifically track the exact position of the keyword that was clicked like you can do with AdWords.
But it is possible to determine the page he was on. A ranking tool can tell you over and over again that a certain keyword is around position 15 in Google while Google Analytics claims he is on page 1 (position 1 to 10).
This effect can come from 'personalized search' or 'local results' that can influence the Google rankings dramatically.
People see other results than you see with your ranking tools.
And therefore you need Google Analytics to do the real ranking.

I was searching for the Google Analytics information, thanks to itraider.....
Can we also use on different programs other than adsense?? Like adbrite...? Also I like to know is it that much powerful like statcounter.com, or more than that??

well it's basically just an information resource, something to help you track where your site is currently at... Nothing more. SEO isn't just the doing part, you need to be able to monitor your site for which way it's moving and that's what analytics does for you.

Here are a few key benefits of using Google Analytics for SEO:

1. Keyword Analysis: With Google Analytics, you can track the keywords that bring traffic to your site. This data helps you understand which keywords are performing well and which ones are not, allowing you to refine your SEO strategy and focus on high-performing keywords.

2. Traffic Sources: Google Analytics provides detailed information about the sources of traffic to your site, such as organic search, referral sites, social media, and paid advertising. This data helps you identify the most effective channels driving traffic to your website, enabling you to invest more in those channels.

3. Site Speed: Google places a lot of emphasis on site speed as a ranking factor. Google Analytics includes a Site Speed report that shows you how fast your site loads, which pages are slow, and provides insights into how to improve page load times. Optimizing your site speed can lead to better search engine rankings and user experience.

4. Behavior Metrics: Google Analytics offers valuable insights into user behavior on your site, such as bounce rate, time on page, and exit pages. These metrics help you understand how users engage with your content and identify areas for improvement. By understanding user behavior, you can optimize your site to keep users engaged and encourage them to convert.

5. Conversion Tracking: Google Analytics allows you to set up conversion goals and track important metrics like sign-ups, downloads, purchases, or any other desired action. By monitoring conversions, you can assess the effectiveness of your SEO efforts and make data-driven decisions to improve your website's performance.

Overall, the best part of Google Analytics over other tracking software applications is its comprehensive set of features, integration with other Google tools, and the ability to access and analyze vast amounts of data. It provides valuable insights that can help you make informed decisions and optimize your SEO strategy to drive more organic traffic to your website.
