To allow crawling of your WP site you need to go to "admin panel >> Settings >> Reading" right before the "Save Changes" button is a checkbox with the label Search Engine Visibility make sure this is unchecked.

Allowing spiders to crawl your website involves a few steps. Here are some general guidelines:

1. Create a robots.txt file: This text file sits in your website's root directory and gives instructions to search engine spiders. It can specify which parts of your site to crawl and which to ignore.

2. Submit your sitemap: A sitemap is an XML file that lists all the pages on your website. Submitting it to search engines, like Google Search Console, helps them understand the structure of your site and crawl it more efficiently.

3. Use crawler-friendly web design: Make sure your website is designed in a way that is easy for search engine spiders to navigate. Avoid excessive use of JavaScript or Flash, as these can sometimes hinder crawling.

4. Check for crawl errors: Regularly check your website for crawl errors using tools provided by search engines. Fixing these errors can improve the crawling and indexing of your website.

Here are a few more tips to help spiders crawl your site:

1. Use descriptive and relevant page titles: This can help search engine spiders understand the content of each page and improve your website's visibility in search results.

2. Optimize your URLs: Create clear and meaningful URLs that include relevant keywords. This not only helps search engines, but also makes it easier for users to navigate your site.

3. Include an HTML sitemap: In addition to submitting your XML sitemap, creating an HTML sitemap with links to all the pages on your site can benefit both users and search engines by providing an easy-to-navigate overview of your website's structure.

4. Avoid duplicate content: Duplicate content can confuse search engine spiders and dilute the visibility of your site. Ensure that each page has unique and valuable content to maximize its crawling and indexing.

5. Monitor server issues: Regularly check if your website experiences any server issues, such as slow response times or downtime. These issues can prevent search engine spiders from accessing and crawling your site effectively.

6. Build high-quality incoming links: Having reputable websites link to your content can increase your site's visibility and encourage search engine spiders to crawl it more frequently.

As you know, Google uses a web crawler named Googlebot to gather information about your website. So it is very important to allow Googlbots to crawl your site. You can do it with txt file name robots.txt. To allow full access of your website your robots.txt file should be like this:
User-agent: *
Disallow:
Orderhive - Multichannel Order & Inventory Management Software
  •

You can allow spiders by defining the webpages as allow in robots.txt file. Also for WordPress websites you can go to the settings and check the option 'search engine visibility' to ensure that the spiders can crawl your webpages.

in a standard wordpress site, as long as you are not blocking robots, they should eventually be able to automatically crawl your site. A great way to make it a quicker process is by sharing your pages on social media websites (to create links which the bots will follow). You can also try submitting your sitemap or URLs for Google bot to crawl.

Hi there,

You have to put allow in the robots.txt and spider will crawl it and index it.

For an instance:

User:*
Allow:/

use

User-agent: *
Disallow:

in your robots.txt file to allow spiders to crawl your site.
