As well as building links for the keyword also build links that are geo specific. This is easier if the site architecture silos by country as you can just build to the geo silo,

As an example if I were building for my SEO london page I would first try to find links relevant to "seo london". Then links to SEO and links to London separately.

As per my experience I would suggest optimise your local business, build citation, get reviews from customer on your GMB. Build local listing. I sure you will rank locally.

If you own (or do online marketing for) a local business, you understand the challenges that come with this kind of campaign vs. that of a non geo-specific brand.

Local SEO is a lot different from your average SEO campaign, and the local search results are changing more rapidly than any other.

All you need to know is that once you’ve set it up, you should include the following:

Add a long, unique description that’s formatted correctly and includes links.
Choose the correct categories for your business.
Upload as many photos as possible.
Add a local phone number to your listing.
Add your business address that’s consistent with that on your website and local directories.
Upload a high-resolution profile image and cover photo.
Add your opening times/days (if relevant).
Get real reviews from customers (I’ll come onto this).

NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number)
Consistency is key here. You need to ensure that you have your full NAP across your whole website (i.e. every page). Furthermore, you must use the exact same details/format when you mention your address on other websites (i.e. local citations).

I’m going to share with you 5 of my favorite methods for ranking on page one. I’ve used every single one of these strategies to rank fast, and they’ve never let me down.

1. Steal your competitors’ keywords
2. Get in the local pack
3. Make sure your site is mobile friendly
4. Organically include your location in your URL
5. Write high-quality, long-form content
