contextual links are actually embedded within content such as blog articles such as business directories and the editorial link is focus on niche focus keywords.
and it's good to have editorial links rather than contextual links.

Contextual link building — links that are surrounded by text in the body of content — have a higher SEO value than links that appear in the footer or sidebar.
An editorial link is a link that results from a site having good content and marketing techniques.
An editorial link is not paid for or directly requested, as is the case with acquired links.

Editorial links
These are similar to niche-specific authority links, but with a stronger editorial component. It is easy to have a contextual connection when there is a link in a news-based editorial item. They are also almost as tough to obtain and require a significant amount of effort.

Contextual links
Deep links from your web page's content are known as contextual links. This content is the most important factor in determining a web page's distinctiveness and relevancy. As a result, providing links from that part gives connected URLs premium URL strength.
