Hi folks,

I would like to know that How can we check that the website has been penalized or banned by Google?

If we search the website from its name without www. or extension like .com and it appears in search then we can say it not penalized nor banned and if it doest not appear in search result then it may be penalized or banned.

many Way for check out our website banned and penalized in search engine or not,

Check Google Analytic for Traffic Data:
If one day, your traffic seems normal, and the next day there's a sharp drop-off (or possibly no traffic at all), that's a pretty good indicator of a possible penalty.

Check Whether Your Site is Still Indexed:
Go to Google and type in site:yourdomain.com

Check for a Recent Google Algorithm Update:

Check Google Webmaster Tools: Error, index pages and Search Queries and check Webmaster message

I think it is really important to know if your site has been penalized by Google. Here are few indications you might look for:
- a sudden or steady drop in rank;
- check webmaster tools for a manual penalty;
- stay current regarding the Google updates.

Remember, a link pointing to a site is a vote. So your voting for this banned or penalized site that the SE's have stated is bad news. If your voting for them, then that must mean your site is also bad news. Ever heard of the saying, "Birds of a feather, flock together?" I have. It's another one of the sayings that didn't make sense to me until later on in life.

Here are some helpful ways you can use to find out if your website is penalized or banned:
- check if you've received warning message in Google Webmaster Tools - if there is no penalty notice from Google informing you that they have penalized your site due to violation of their quality quidelines, then this is a good sign you'd like to see.
-   check what day did your traffic drop - most likely the drop is due to the changes of Google's search results ranking algorithm, and now you have to find out what the update is all about and make sure your site does not violate Google quality gidelines.
- check if you lose Organic Rankings of your target keywords - if your site penalized, most of your target keywords will lose their organic rankings on search results.
- ask your SEO company - if you hire a a sEO firm helping  you to boost your site ranking on Google search results, ask them to explain the tactics and strategies they've been using, ask them to check if your site has been penalized.
