I started my blog in Dec 2019. Since then I have published more than 30 high-quality articles of around 1500 words on average. I get around 6k-7k page views every month and almost all of them are through referral traffic and social media. I am unable to get any organic traffic.

On top of it, my Adsense account is only giving me $ 1.5/RPM. I am just trying to understand where my strategy is falling short. Is it because, I am getting most referral and social media traffic, I am getting low RPM rates? And even after 3-4 months my organic traffic is only about 150 visitors per month.

Any suggestions here will be very helpful.

You will need to work on your SEO. First, just run a free website audit and see what are the issues. SEO can be divided into 2 areas Onpage and off-page SEO. On-page includes meta, title, content optimization, page speed optimization, W3C cache, and any other recommendations that might be there. Off-page optimization includes link building- directory submissions, article submission, blog postings, infographics postings, audio sharing etc.

There are a lot of other factors that might be affecting your website. For more help you can contact me, we have helped many blog to rank higher and get traffic from google.

Well, to accelerate traffic, try targeting keywords that have good monthly searches.

Whenever I am optimizing my site or my blog, I make sure I have the best keywords. I use Keyword Country to find the most popular and geographically active keywords in my niche.

Once you have a list of popular keywords:

- Participate in niche related forums and communities
- Contribute in social networking sites (Post on related wall pages)
- Submit RSS feeds to feed directories
- Start a catchy blog and invite other bloggers to guest post
- Write guest posts for blogs related to your niche
- Share viral content (images, text, videos etc)
- Offer valuable information and make your website user-friendly (for repeated traffic)

Publishing quality content isn't enough, you have to do much more. You have to find out tactics to grow organic traffic by connecting with the relevant audience.

Guest blogging and participating on forums where you can lend expertise in a subject area in a way that a) lets you add value and then b) build links is ideal.  Don't just post content to link back to yours.  Contribute to a community initially.  Over time, you might become credible enough to feature your content in a way that people will find their way back to your site.
