Page Titles are actually the headings given to the page. If you add keywords into that then it is well & good for search engines to crawl your site.

The page title is contained within the HTML <title> tag and is almost always used as the clickable headline for listings on search engine result pages. Since the title tag is used by all of the major search engines, it is important to title your pages with keywords that will help drive traffic to that page.

If you don't write anything on title tag, Search engines will display it automatically. It may be initial sentence or other & this system goes on changing with the type of search engines. To fix this issue we need to write title tag, which displays our title as it is in most of the search engines.

Title tags are part of the meta tags that appear at the top of your HTML inside the < head> area. Title tags should be a maximum of 70 characters long, including spaces.Use pipes | to separate important (keyword) phrases (no commas, underscores, dashes or any other punctuation ).

It may be the most significant single overview of just what a page is about and therefore bears the best on-page weighting inside the Google formula. In short, if you’re focusing on a particular search term, you will make your name tag because near that phrase since feasible.

Title tags—technically called title elements—define the title of a document. Title tags are often used on search engine results pages (SERPs) to display preview snippets for a given page, and are important both for SEO and social sharing.

The title element of a web page is meant to be an accurate and concise description of a page's content. This element is critical to both user experience and search engine optimization. It creates value in three specific areas: relevancy, browsing, and in the search engine results pages.

Code Sample
<head>
<title>Example Title</title>
</head>
Optimal Format
Primary Keyword - Secondary Keyword | Brand Name

Optimal Length for Search Engines
Google typically displays the first 50-60 characters of a title tag, or as many characters as will fit into a 512-pixel display. If you keep your titles under 55 characters, you can expect at least 95% of your titles to display properly. Keep in mind that search engines may choose to display a different title than what you provide in your HTML. Titles in search results may be rewritten to match your brand, the user query, or other considerations.
