Hi All,

I work for an e-commerce company. About five months ago we de-grouped all of our grouped products on to single pages.
We ended up with 855 extra individual product pages. We also kept the grouped product pages live but only linked to them through
the new individual pages. We have seen significant ranking drops since we made the changes.
The individual pages are very similar in terms of content i.e slight variations in title, SMT and bullet points but not much.
We have not had the time to create new LMT's for them. Overall the pages are very similar.
We can't 'no index' any of the pages as we need them for the PPC shopping channel. Also at the moment all the pages are canonicalised
to themselves.
What I want to do is canonicalise all the single pages to their original group page and put the group pages back into the category
structure and take the singles out.
This would leave the single pages useable for PPC but also show Google that we are not trying to make loads of duplicate product pages.

What do you guys think???   O0
