I know everything on this site is above board and all, but why should I share my SEO techniques, no one else ever does so what's in it for me ? Apart from the basis priniciples I would think that most SEO gurus never really give you the real info you need ? That kind of pisses me off actually lol

There are so many different people. You are almost right, 95% of SEO gurus will never share their techniques.
But what about the rest?
They support forums like this one. Voila the response to your question.

I don't think SEO gurus do like this.... I mean they first implement there techniques on there websites and if they got success, you will see that after 2 or 3 years they will come back to tell us their story for free or at low price...to help others (newbies)...Am i right?
I am telling this because I have read such stories..... Check on google for Ewen chia's affiliate marketing seo strategies....

Yeah those SEO gurus are complete F**K's like that. Selling us old ideas that once worked and now doesn't... Bit sleezy really.

There are good concepts to both sides here.  By sharing your ideas people will certainly be pleased.  You'll get lots of thanks and approval on these forums.  But then the guests come in, read the tactics, then leave.  Then they become over-saturated and don't work for anyone anymore.  I say if you want to share your tactics, make a topic, then say to PM you if they want the tactics BUT they must have a certain amount of posts or you won't tell them.  Make it an amount like 50 or 100 posts that way they can't' just spam and even if they never return, at least they contributed 50-100 posts to the forum.
