I never suggest you to submit same article in different article sites. You have to write a unique article for a particular site.
Article submission is really helpful in getting high rank, if you use keywords in title and in content of article.

i will suggest you to put the article as a guest post at some high PR site it will give you more advantage rather than spammy spun articles marketing.

I submit the same article to different sites without spinning. It still seems to work for me. Maybe submitting unique would have more effect.

Google likes unique and quality content, Don't submit the article in directory which you have already been submitted in any other directory or press release site. Mostly quality Article directories rejects your duplicate content. Try to submit new content.

Now days It's may very harmfull to publish same contents in thousand of sites with promotional and kewyors based anchor test to money website. Just stop doing this

I used to do post same article in different directories. But after penguin update i am little bit scarred as update says about over optimization and unique content. Thanks..

Write unique articles. The more you submit the same article, the less value it will have.

Why put it one someone elses site? Write the articles for your own site! Then, if it's a link bait it won't attract link juice to SOMEONE ELSES DOMAIN! Which is very bad for you but good for them.

If you submit it to an article directory, the article will very likely out rank your own site?
