Quality Score is a metric used in online advertising, particularly in Google Ads (formerly AdWords). It assesses the quality and relevance of your keywords, ad copy, and landing pages. It's measured on a scale from 1 to 10, with higher scores indicating better quality. Quality Score affects ad position and cost-per-click (CPC). Ads with higher Quality Scores can rank higher and pay lower CPCs. Factors influencing Quality Score include click-through rate (CTR), ad relevance, and landing page quality. Optimizing these elements can improve your Quality Score and campaign performance.

Search engines such as Google AdWords use Quality Score to measure the relevance and quality of ads, keywords, landing pages, and their performance on search engines like AdWords. Rated on a scale from one to 10, with 10 being the maximum, increasing Quality Score can result in reduced cost-per-click (CPC) rates as well as better ad positions; its calculations take into account factors like keyword relevance to an ad group, click-through rate (CTR), landing page quality as well as past performance of an ad on search engines - measuring how useful or relevant or valuable the search query searchers perceive your ads in terms of search terms based on these metrics.
