What if your SEO effort fails?
« on: 06-19-2010, 12:02:36 »
Here is a case for you. You have a new website, you do onsite SEO and get it published. Next, you don’t have much time to do link building by yourself, and that’s why you outsource the job.

You find the right guy and let him work on it. His works is good after a while. But, in the next three months your website get banned.

What would you do?

I would try to get my money back.
But it would be better to hire somebody with recommendations firstly to avoid such situation.

Sounds like you got served for paying the price of being lazy. I've said this many times, don't outsource your SEO unless you have the money to go to a real pro. real pros won't get you band!  :P

Bon jovi is the real pro music band!  :P

There's nothing wrong with outsourcing SEO. There are times when we must do SEO for our clients and abandoned our own websites. Now, in that situation what are we gonna do? Let our websites sinking for sure?

I agree with ryosuzuki, but do you think that outsourcing SEO work really gets you ban? I mean what if all the fault is in your site not in outsourcing?

SEO is a trial and error, if you fail then try it again and make it perfect.

In the field of outsourcing trust is the best virtue. You don't a guy working for you. If he got failed and unfortunately your site get banned well you can do nothing, he is from different side of the world. Anyway SEO is just a trial and error, if you fail then better luck next time buddy.
