LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing. LSI keywords are those keywords that are semantically linked to your main target keyword. They need not contain the actual keyword phrase in them. For example, if your main keyword for a page is "search engine optimization", then keywords like "keyword research","backlinks", etc are LSI keywords for it. Yes, LSI keywords will surely help you rank well. Whenever, you create content for your target keyword, you can also include 4-5 LSI keywords in it.

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is a mathematical method used to determine the relationship between terms and concepts in content. The contents of a webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collated and identified as the keywords for the page.

I think through the above answers you are quite aware of what is LSI So I'm not going to give you the definition.

LSI ( Latent Semantic Indexing ) helps search engines identify related keywords and process synonyms to deliver more accurate search results. Latent Semantic Indexing is not a trick. You should bear it in mind when adding content to a web page, but do not get paranoid about it. The chances are if you provide quality, relevant content you will never have to worry about falling foul of and LSI checks.

LSI keywords can be used to reduce the amount of keyword stuffing, leading to a higher content relevancy score, and a higher ranking for search results.

LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) are basically keywords that are semantically related to the main keyword.

They are essential keywords related to the keywords that we are searching for, and Google does this by using a system known as LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing).

Google has confirmed that by using more LSI keywords, page will  rank better, which make sense because end users  search for the same keyword in various different ways.

LSI Stands for Latent Semantic Indexing which in clear words means similar or synonyms of the keywords we use in our web pages. Google give weightage to the LSI keywords. You can get here a complete knowledge of LSI keywords.
