What Is URL Masking?
Domain Masking or URL Masking is the art of hiding the real domain name of a website after the URL field of a user's web browser in approval of another name.

Is that spamming or black hat SEO technique? because it is hiding actual URL path.

What do you think about it?

URL masking is a black hat technique by which a user is redirected to a different website instead of the website which is shown in the domain name. This technique is also known as Stealth Redirection or URL Hiding.
In this technique, the domain forwarding server sends the user a frame page where the Frame Source contains the destination URL which you have mentioned in the address bar. By doing this it is ensured that the URL in the address bar does not change, though the user sees a different page.

What Is URL Masking?
URL masking is nothing but  hiding the actual domain name of your website from the URL field of a user's web browser and displaying other domain name. You can mask your URL by shortening it.

URL masking means that the visitors to the domain name will be forwarded to your destination website, however the URL in their browser address bar will remain the same. The URL masking is also known as Stealth Redirection or URL Hiding. This will ensure that your visitors see the original domain name and not the destination URL.
