Hi there,

Can anybody shed some light on why a weaker domain with fewer backlinks can ranked better than the other (seo company malaysia)?

1. https://www.page-rank1.com/ (no keyword in domain, 3 years, 43 backlinks, DA:12)
2. http://www.simple-seocompany.com/ (keyword in domain, 6 years, tons of backlinks, DA:38)

Many many thanks!

Regards
Kent

Generally I just ignore Alexa ranking ROFL, but apparently, this time the one out in front has a better Alexa You got me stumped at the moment boss, I'd have to look at it more thoroughly.

I even checked the Structured Data Testing Tool and although he has some massive size description, (probably just the whole page contents dumped into it) but nothing substantially impacting anything. It appears the domain in 15th  with the 38 DA tanked in January of this year. Penalty possibly? I'd have to look further.

Quality Backlinks is better than Quantity Backlinks.

I agree with him, Quality matters a lot than quantity and due to the spammy backlinks the site got the penalty from Google.

Ah ok, that makes sense! Well, it's a relief to know that they on some super rare occurrence actually do take into account someone accumulating spammy links, I would have to say that is the first time I've actually seen them do something about it lol!

For the most part I simply disregard Alexa positioning ROFL, however evidently, this time the one out in front has a superior Alexa You got me baffled right now a supervisor, I'd need to take a gander at it all the more completely.
I even checked the Structured Data Testing Tool and despite the fact that he has some monstrous size portrayal, (likely simply the entire page substance dumped into it) yet nothing generously affecting anything. It shows up the area in fifteenth with the 38 DA failed in January of this current year. Punishment potentially? I'd need to look further.

Well, as much as i have seen this and experienced myself with education and travel niche.

I have seen sites with lower DA and less age rank higher if it has a good level of content and is really user-friendly, the content keyword density, less or no backlinks doesn't really matter.

The thing is - Google no more value backlinks to rank the keywords, Instead it respect the quality of content and word counts.

But this is not true with every case, this is really nothing certain with Google that what it really respect. I have even seen pages with low DA and good content ranking for more than 6 months with over 2000 words content.

Now, i see that there is a site with good DA ranking over it with 5000 words content.

There is literally no content variation both have same content nearly (no plag).

So google has its own algo which check a lot of criteria now a days so nothing is really appropriate to say what factors are affecting them in eyes of Google.

Also, Alexa has nothing much to do with ranking factor now a days its even not considered for Google ranking anymore. For more clarification you will love this discussion at Quora - https://www.quora.com/Does-Alexa-rank-really-matters-in-Google-ranking-for-keywords

Let me know if i can help you further. Good Day.
