What are alternatives to Wordpress?
« on: 04-08-2017, 10:28:15 »
Wordpress is good and easy to use but its a bit slow and many experts do not recommend it for affiliate marketing (CPC advertising). I have questions:

1) Is that true?
2) What are alternatives to Wordpress that I can build a website load fast.

Note: Basically, I want to build a simple website with a few pages and a form to collect lead. I know basic html/css so I can edit html and css here and there, but not much.

What's your thought?

Thanks guys

You should try Joomla or Drupal platform, the 2 platforms are very flexible and scalable. However, using these platforms you need to have technical experiences.

No, that's not true. if you have only speed issue then you can't ignore WordPress, you should use some techniques to load fast. In other way WordPress is the best CMS that provides some good stuffs like free plugins.

You can try for Drupal for sure. But I think WordPress is much more easier than Drupal.

If you are looking out for free alternatives to Wordpress then you can check out Blogger.com, Wix, Weebly.

But, in case you  are looking out for Professional website you can use magento, Joomla and Drupal.

Just because the website speed is low doesn't mean Wordpress is not good. In fact Wordpress is easiest to build site on without minimum amount of coding. In case you are not good at coding then Wordpress is the best option
