Alexa isn't counting visits from some countries anymore?

(1/1)

Satsokl:
Hi All
I hope someone can enlighten me on a strange behavior I noticed.
I manage a travel website that usually has the most traffic during summer.
3-4 months ago it was ranked around 90.000 with just about 2.000 unique users daily. Today it dropped down to almost 600.000 spots despite that it receives more than 8.000 users per day.
The decline is steady and sharp.
Checking other competitive sites I noticed the same thing, their declining curve looks the same as mine.
As my site gets 60% of its traffic from Greece, and the rest from UK, Germany, and the USA, I believe that Greek traffic is not counted by Alexa anymore.
Another indication for this is that all Alexa toolbar extensions in every browser I checked all showing: Alexa Traffic Rank: #NaN and the bar inside it is all white, on every site even on google.com.
Seems that the only option for me is to increase traffic in the UK or the USA.
Can someone confirm this situation or does someone know what else is going on?

I don't want to pay so much attention to Alexa rank but unfortunately, advertisers do give, This site during last winter used to receive dozens of guest posts and ads requests and today nobody seems to care anymore.

Thanks a lot

Satsokl:
Nobody nothing?

Meanwhile, the drop is continuing and today reached 1.300.000.
350.000 positions in one day? seems that they don't have any data at all for this site!
And the traffic is still good, 5000 people daily.

They want money, to sign up for one of their plans to get certified metrics, NO WAY!

Why do you care about Alexa Rank - Google and other search engine don't consider 3rd party site statistics in their algorithm.

Satsokl:
I don't, some advertisers do.
It was just an indication for psychological reasons only, always false of course, But I will learn to ignore it as my feeling is that it is dying.
