facebook search
« on: 05-30-2010, 15:21:18 »
Facebook has it's own search engine of hundreds of millions of people accessible to anyone.  Knowing this how can we keep our information private if this is so easily accessible through a click of the mouse?

You can control your privacy settings.
If you don't want people to see your wall, infos and photos..
Hope this'll help.
Try to browse the privacy setting of your facebook account.

For now, although, I'm attaching with Facebook. I'm now going to be ranging back lots of what I have made public on account still. While I am not going-to go to the extent that Perlow has in his outstanding  Facebook Profile, I have attempted to keep my site a more private, and here is how it is.

Hi..

Here is some Face book search engines.

Greplin-  Greplin is a search bar that aims to find desired results as it navigates through your social world.

Booshaka - When Booshaka first launched last year, the service aggregated Facebook pages and let people search through all the posts by them.

Bing-  Bing has been looking to leverage its close relationship with Facebook as much as possible.

Foupas- Foupas is a Facebook search engine that gathers information from various aspects of the site.

Kurrently - Kurrently shows what people are publishing right now on Facebook and Twitter.

Social Mention- Social Mention appears to be serious about social media search. The service provides a real-time analysis of what’s being discussed around the web and displays the results in an easy to digest format.

really? i think its fine. but if you don't want to have your name or information searchable, why don't you pull down all of your posted information?

For now, although, I'm linking with Facebook or myspace. I'm now going to be varying again many what I have revealed on consideration still. While I am not going-to go to the level that Perlow has in his excellent  Facebook or myspace Profile, I have attempt to keep my website a more personal, and here is how it is.
