I have recently read somewhere that creating a high pr blog network would be the best seo plan one can have. But for that we need high pr blogs and I don't have the one. My blogs are still fresh online and it will take time to get them right amount of exposure. By that time I am willing to wait longer and creating high pr backlinks for my blog. I have seen on many places on Internet that expired blogger, wordpress, tumblr etc. blogs can be registered which have pr and page authority with them. But is it legit way to create high pr blog network?

I do agree with Jeff, you need to join first then afterwards you can create your own  blog network.

Its called PBN - Private Blog networks.
You have to create lots and lots of unique domain based blogs and then arrange them in a pyramidal structure to make the PR juice flow from bottom to up.

For example 10 blogs will point to 5, the 5 will point upwards to another 2-3 and the 2-3 shall point to 1 last blog which could be your actual landing page or main sales page.

Furthermore the bottom most 10 blogs can have links from various 3rd party sites like web 2 profile sites, paid link directories etc.
This approach is also called tiered link building scheme.

How-ever, given the amount of time and effort required for PBN, the more recommended way is to find natural backlink sources first. If nothing can be found PBN should be the last option.

THank you fo ryour nice explanation. Now I understand how to make a private blogging network. I thing it isn't only about pyramiding keywords but also its link.

You just have to be careful in implementing PBN because it could put your site at risk of getting deindexed  or your site could land a manual penalty for "Unnatural Inbound Links".

Getting exposure is a goal of many bloggers. They work hard writing and sharing their thoughts on various topics. Once they achieve a certain size however, growth seems to plateau a bit. They need a bigger platform so to speak and some decide to join a blog network.

Blog networks have different meaning for different people. There are networks that are business focused and the members form a more formal alliance. They share revenue for example. There are networks that are more interest based, with the intention of helping the members grow. The network typically is based around a common niche, such as personal finance. When I'm referring to blog networks in this post, I'm referring to the more informal network

A blog network is a set of blogs post owned by one or multiple people which are mostly related to one niche or competitor within the group of niches in that bloggers publish articles or blogs.

Below are the 10 important steps to build a PBN most safely and successfully.

Step 4: Safest PBN Hosting Package

Step 7: Show it's Natural
Step 8: Structure & Indexing
Step 9: Regular Updates
Step 10: Track Spam Score and Backlinks
