What do you do to make your blog stand out?

Alright so I'm fairly new to the blogging game, and my blog is just getting off the ground. I really enjoy blogging as a creative outlet and I want to get some readership going, but I have some questions and concerns.

My biggest concern is being a kind of "white noise" in the blogging community. With the internet being so saturated with blogs that are all trying to fit the same niche, what do you / what can I do to help my blog stand out?

I'm not trying to be a huge and famous blogger, but I do hope to have a bit of traffic to my site. So can you give me any tips?
