I've always had trouble with launching my new blog, what's the best way to do it ? how does one really drum up the real visitors ?
1. Prepare amazing content in advance
2. Run a viral twitter campaign
3. Provide incentives to early subscribers
4. Hold a contest
5. Run a brute-force ad campaign
6. Host an event or a party
7. Give away prizes
8. Promote your posts on social media
9. Guest post on other blogs
10. Interact with your user base
11. Get creative, do something exciting and get people to love you!
yeh thanks once again for that BS list.. come on guys, are there any real people on this forum , people that actually smile, breath and try to give some sort of a unique perspective ? why the heck is everyone just copy and pasting and if you are going to copy and paste why not atleast give the source ?

Simply place you thoughts here.
You should first think of an theme eg. car then you should gather a lot of information and pictures on it.
then you should log on to blogger.com and create an account there and then follow the instructions

What is this? Why should a new blogger host an event or a party to launch his new blog? I don't get this. Maybe if you give me a real success story I will announce a big party everytime I launch a new blog.
I would say-
*Nice layout, you want to make a good first impression on visitors, probably you'll have to make this yourself or pay someone to do it for you. There are custom ones if you search around but they won't have everything you want.
*Some interactive stuff, a poll by the side of your posts.
*Good content that people will want to read. Like 10-20 good quality posts written in advance. It makes it look more professional.
