Bloggers don't make money. Bloggers only blog. Internet marketers do. A few years ago making money by a personal blog was a bit weird because most bloggers write blogs for fun. Trending has changed, and hundreds of bloggers now can earn hundreds to thousands of dollars a month by blogging alone. Then, millions of new bloggers build new blogs and try to make money. But, only a few of them are successful.

It's not easy making money (doesn't matter where). To make money from blog you must write something really unique and interesting.
Therefore most of blogers earn nothing. But anyway it's for fun and you get new friends.

It's a nice way of putting it, i..e bloggers don't make money, but internet marketers do. I guess bloggers have to learn the arts of internet marketing, but they both go hand in hand really. Blogging is the product, internet marketing is your promotion and advertising :)

Bloggers may struggle to make money due to several reasons. Insufficient traffic, inadequate monetization strategies, or poor niche selection can hinder income potential. Lack of consistency, low-quality content, and ineffective marketing also contribute. Additionally, overlooking SEO practices, not diversifying revenue streams, and impatience in expecting quick returns can be stumbling blocks. Successful blogging requires a balance of engaging content, strategic promotion, and patience to cultivate a loyal audience and monetize effectively. Please check this article how to make a website that makes money for more details.
