Hi,

Recently i'v ran into this article.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/elandekel/2013/01/22/facebook-pages-are-a-bad-investment-for-small-businesses/

Some are seems to be true esp when you posting on your FBpage. I only have 1k like but each time i post, only 10% actually view it. You have to 'invest' more for more people to view your post.

Just looking for comment before i actually 'invest' more on FBpage.

This article from Forbes raises some valid points about the challenges small businesses face when investing in Facebook pages. It's true that organic reach on Facebook has been declining, and reaching a larger audience often requires paid promotion.

However, before making a decision to invest more in your Facebook page, it's important to consider your overall marketing strategy. Facebook can still be a valuable tool for building brand awareness, engaging with customers, and driving traffic to your website or store. It's also important to analyze the return on investment (ROI) for your current level of investment in the platform.

If you do decide to invest more in your Facebook page, it's crucial to have a clear plan and measurable goals. Consider testing different types of posts, targeting specific audiences, and using Facebook's advertising tools to maximize your budget. Additionally, be sure to track the performance of your posts and ads to understand what resonates with your audience.

before you decide to invest more in your Facebook page, it's crucial to consider the following:

1. Understand your audience: Consider whether your target audience is active on Facebook. If your audience doesn't engage with your content on this platform, it may not be the best place to focus your marketing efforts.

2. Content strategy: Develop a content strategy that includes a mix of organic posts and paid promotions. High-quality, engaging content is more likely to resonate with your audience and can help improve the reach of your posts.

3. Budget and goals: Set clear goals for your Facebook page, such as increasing website traffic, generating leads, or driving sales. Determine a budget that aligns with these goals and test different ad formats to see what works best for your business.

4. Analytics and tracking: Use Facebook Insights and other analytics tools to measure the performance of your posts and ads. This data will help you understand what resonates with your audience and make informed decisions about future investments.

5. Diversify your marketing channels: While Facebook can be valuable, consider diversifying your marketing efforts across multiple channels to reach a broader audience and reduce dependence on any single platform.

By carefully considering these factors and taking a strategic approach to your Facebook marketing, you can make informed decisions about investing in your Facebook page and maximize its potential as a marketing tool for your small business.

Nearly all consumers use the Web to lookup for local companies - and most of them are on Facebook. The website is the biggest social networking platform in the earth by far, with much more than a billion active users.

Yes it is the best.
Facebook page is one of the best & effective ways to boost revenue of small businesses. That's so because the total number of monthly active users on Facebook is quite high i.e. around one billion & approximately one million users share link every 20 minutes. Almost all of the customer segments are available on this network. So, for local businesses Facebook is a great source of attracting traffic.
In fact, Facebook is treated as search engine these days to find the stores, cafes, salons, spas in a city. FB users search for business pages of their favorite places like restaurants, gyms and their likes on a page grab attention of other users (their friends) as they get notifications. Whatever your fans share also attracts new users.

I do Income taxes for local client base. My website basically serves as a listing page. I use a Facebook business page to build relationships. I share a non income tax post from my Facebook business page, it has my business name on it. During tax season I will be sharing income tax cartons. My friends and contacts has grown tremendously in the last year. Bottom line it is extremely effective.

Yes facebook page good for small time business, A good Facebook page strategy consists of a healthy mix of feel-good content, information your customers need to know, and a small bit of advertising. If you're not set up for that or want to focus only on hard selling numbers, you'll be wasting your time on a Facebook page.

Facebook is a suitable platform for small businesses to promote their product or services. Though Facebook pages need to be paid, they are effective to create awareness for your business and specify the services otherwise will be buried among the bulk of advertisers posting over Facebook.

Yes it is. The reason is that Facebook has been used by the most number of users. So when you are creating a Facebook page, you can share it to your timeline and ask your friends also to share the same, thus if you are having a small business then you can save the cost of advertisement.

To get high conversion from Facebook, your community must be relative and this community must grow each day of a week
