I been browsing threads and people say facebook is becoming harder and harder to make money with but what does the whole "Become a fan" to "like" thing have to do with it? You only have to ask them to "like" it instead of "become a fan"? I am defiantly missing something here..
They simply changed to "become a fan" to "like."
So instead of fanpages we now have "likepages" (but we'll still call them fanpages, RIP 4/20/10)
I bet the fb team was smoking really dank weed when they changed the fanpage policies.
And yes, you could say fanpages are dead.

I really have no idea why they did change this and knowing Facebook they won't change it back..It's not a huge deal it's just an annoying system. They also changed backlinks to not be so search engine friendly I think to avoid spam.
I just joined Facebook a few weeks ago so I did not understand the fan page phenomenon. It seems to make sense though I have no idea why they removed it.
Nothing has changed . Its the same . Like = become a fan. :) You can still earn money with facebook .
as much as i like facebook i think some of the things that facebook does is pretty pointless. it's nothing different. i guess just an attempt to keep things "fresh"
I don't tink there's any difference between the two it's the same things it's just called something different. that's all.
I have heard that if u become a fan of some group or page or like it the person who has made that page can have access on your account.
Nothing has changed friends its just the same you can still earn money on facebook people just like to write anything they want
Yeah its all the same we can still earn money on Facebook !-! and to like a page or to become a fan is the same thing so cheers :D
any group or fan page, the page can access your account, I would like people.
Only the term used was change. Nothing else!
