There should be a KPI to measure the performance  of B2B ecommerce companies. And the essential metrics are :

  • Revenue – perhaps the most obvious one.
Revenue per visit – might be good measuring conversion especially during campaigns
Number of orders – tells you a lot about current conversion
    Average order value (AOV)

Looking at it like a funnel, gives you insight on where to improve your site.

  • Total(/unique) visits and with that the bounce rate.
Number of engaged – people viewing a product, or more generally staying on your site for more than x seconds or maybe a combination.
Number of "Add to cart" – gives you "Add to cart" rate and tells you the percentage of the number of engaged visitors that also added a product to the cart.
    Total "Cart views"
    Total Purchases

Business-to-business (B2B), also called B-to-B, is a form of transaction between businesses, such as one involving a manufacturer and wholesaler, or a wholesaler and a retailer. Business-to-business refers to business that is conducted between companies, rather than between a company and individual consumer.
