There is no fixed number of word count for which we can say that the website will be rank in SERP!!

Long enough so that it answers the query to the best possible standard. If that takes 100 or 10,000 words, so be it. There is no ideal length. Longer content isn't automatically good because it's longer.

Firstly, there is no directive that says that in order to rank higher the content must be of a definite length. There are many content marketers that devote plenty of time to create content and that's indeed a good thing. But content length is not the only thing we need to focus on while creating content.

Content should have the following two traits:

• Content should be deep and have broad coverage.
• The content should focus on the topic i.e. primary keyword which you want to rank in SERPs.

Concentrate on the above two traits while creating the content. It does not matter whether the content is 1000 or 2000 words.

Hope this helps.

I agree with @sophis, there is no fixed number of words for which we can say that it will rank in SERP!!

Words equal content, and on the internet content is king. The longer something is usually the better. Longer content means more time search engine robots remain on your site. Microblogging is about keeping it short and sweet but, I would make your written site content as long as possible. If this is something that you cannot produce then consider hiring a content writer.

The Content-Length header is mandatory for messages with entity bodies, unless the message is transported using chunked encoding. Content-Length is needed to detect premature message truncation when servers crash and to properly segment messages that share a persistent connection.

I would like to suggest 1500 words on each page.

The content-length is the size of the compressed message body, in "octets" (i.e. in units of 8 bits, which happen to be "bytes" for all modern computers). The size of the actual message body can be something else, perhaps 150280 bytes.
