Title: Does Google like static or dynamic pages ?
Post by: ak47 on 05-17-2010, 09:59:40
Ok I'm really asking for advise based on all of you SEO experts own personal experiences. I'm trying to build a new site and am wondering if going for a static HTML website is better than a slower loading PHP based one like wordpress ?

The site I'm making is simple and it would just suit me great if it was just HTML pages i.e. static ones. I really don't want to install wordpress etc.

Tips, ideas, suggestions for moi ?

It is not important for seo.
The most important is content (as known, content is king :) ).
So build site for people and there is no difference which technique you are using.

As already told content is of prime importance irrespective of anything else.

Google like always dynamic pages because crawler updates more information of our site.

As per my knowledge Google like Dynamic pages. On dynamic pages, Google can get the appropriate information and content and do better crawling. In Higher Than Ltd. where I am working right now, we have a number of companies for the SEO work and we provide the appropriate results. Dynamic websites are more preferable because of the number of internal and external links.

If you are going to create a new website, it should be static, fast and contain unique content. From seo point of view, all these are important and helps a  website getting good search engine ranking.  >:D

I think the content is the primary thing for a website, make the content of your website informative and attractive for the users, so that they like to visit again, it will help you more rather than the what is the type of page.

Google like neither static nor dynamic page, the only page it likes is the page with the quality content.  ;D

I don't think that Google differ and give ranking to pages as per its type because the only thing which matters to Google is the content of a website, which is the only thing now by which Google is showing the results of search queries.

I think it doesn't matter for Google that the page is static or dynamic, content is the only king and it should have to be rich, thats what Google like.

It is really a good topic to discuss, because till now I only believed that Google likes pages having the rich content, but this topic raised a question in my mind is page type can be a factor while determining the ranking of a webpage, I really hope that we can get some good suggestion by the other forum members.
