Hello, anyone got any ideas if Google spiders links from drop-down menus? I want to put a list of links at the top of a page but don't want to list them all out as text - I'd prefer to put them in a drop-down menu.

However, I want Googlebot to follow each link. So will it do this from a drop-down menu?

I'm talking about an HTML drop-down menu - not a DHTML one.

Thanks.

Googlebot crawls the html drop-down menus. But make sure to check it by using fetch as Googlebot in webmaster tools.

Well, google cannot crawl combo box... but you can make them crawlable.

You can use LI tags so that it appear plain text to the Search Engine .

Pass this code through JavaScript... This adds functionality to the combo box.
