As title mentioned, I would like to hear you SEO guys' opinions here about value of image links vs text links. Which is better? why?

Both have their own significance. Text links help to build keyword ranking and also improve keyword popularity in search engines. They help to rank your keywords higher in search results. On the other hand image links help to rank your images higher in Google searches. They also help to build your website popularity and generate good traffic from them.

In my opinion links should not be images because of the detrimental effect image blocking has. Which is yet another justification for always testing assumptions! Who wants to recommend the best way to code button links so that:
- they make an attractive call to action;
- they work in as many email display environments as possible;
- they still work when images are disabled.

Hello, as for me, I like images more! It is more interesting and more understandebal! I know that 80% of internet users like interesting pictures more!

Text links hold more SEO value than image links. Putting text beneath an image and linking both is a good alternative to linking an image with embedded text. Don't replace image links with text links if this will compromise the user experience.
