How to delete a page from Google?

I have changed WordPress page permalink because it had a typo error, now its working fine. But when I search in Google the page with old link still appears and when I click on it it goes to page not found. How do i delete that page from Google?

Here is a google support from which you can know and delete a particlar page you want to remove

Open the Remove URLs page.
Click Temporarily hide.
Enter the relative path of the desired image, page, or directory and click Continue. The path is relative to your Search Console property root, and should include a leading / mark.

You can also use ScreamingFrog to check for 401 URL errors. If you find any you might want to setup redirects to push traffic to other pages of your site. This is a common SEO technique

If Website page already removed then you have to fix 301 redirections to the related website page, So next time when Google recrawl website page gives old URL value to redirection URL

To temporarily block a Search Console property page from Google Search:

   1. Open the Remove URLs page: google.com/webmasters/tools/url-removal
   2. Click Temporarily hide.
   3. Enter the relative path of the desired image, page, or directory and click Continue. The path is relative to your Search Console property root, and should include a leading / mark.
   4. Choose one of the following actions on the form:
        - Temporarily hide page from search results and remove from cache: Hides the page from Google search results for about 90 days, and also clears the cached copy of the page and snippet. The page can reappear in search results after the blackout period. Google will recrawl the page during the blackout period and refresh the page cache and snippet, but will not show them until the blackout period expires.
        - Remove page from cache only: Clears the cached page and snippet, but does not remove the page from search results. Google will refresh the page cache and snippet.
        - Temporarily hide directory: Hides an entire directory from search results for about 90 days and also clears cached pages and snippets for all pages in the specified directory. The directory can reappear in search results after the blackout period. Google will recrawl the pages during the blackout period and refresh the page caches and snippets.
    5. Click Submit Request. The request can take up to a day to process, but is not guaranteed to be accepted. Check back to see the status of the request. If your request has been denied, click Learn more to see the explanation. For example, your request might have failed because the URL you submitted didn’t meet the requirements for the type of blocking you requested, or you may need to make a different type of request in order to successfully block a specific URL.

If content was deleted from a site but still shows up in Google search results, the page description or cache might be outdated. To request a removal of outdated content: Go to the Remove outdated content page. Enter the URL (web address) of the page that has the outdated content you want to remove.

The reason might be

You didn't redirect the old URL to the new URL and Google didn't crawl and index the new URL. That's why Google is still showing the old permalink which is already showing 404 error due to it's get changed. So, you just apply the 301 redirection to the old permalink to new permalink and submit the new permalink into the URL inspection tool on Google search console. In a couple of days, Google will index the new permalink of your website.

If you want to remove the old permalink from the listing, you can submit that url in the URL removal option in Google search console.

To request a removal of outdated content: Go to the Remove outdated content page. Enter the URL (web address) of the page that has the outdated content you want to remove.

On a computer, open a site in classic Google Sites.
Click the page you want to delete.
At the top right, click More actions. Delete page.
Click Delete.
