I was thinking about translating a site into different languages, but how well you think the google language tool is?

Is it accurate?

I did try using the google translator.
It seems that it can translate words very well but to translate a sentence, it'll go inaccurately.

I don't like websites that are translated with google translate tool. You can't understand some sentences , and that ain't good.

Only manual translation is dependable.  Google translator is something like the article rewriting software.   Do them manually.  No charm at all times with software.

Yep I agree, dont use Googles tool to do a bunch of sentences as it will become unreadable.

Use manual software to do this and you should be fine mate!

I agree with you... I used to translate it from Spanish to english.. But when I saw the result it only translate the words not the sentence and when I read the whole sentence, its meaning changes totally from the original sentence in english...
So advice to you is to do it manually..

Google translate is a free multilingual statistical machine translation service provided by Google to translate text, speech, images, sites, or real-time video from one language into another. It offers a web interface, mobile interfaces for Android and iOS, and an API that developers can use to build browser extensions, applications, and other software.

Google itself providing a facility of translating page into different languages. so why to waste time? people can use default facility provided by google.

If you have quality content and you want them to stay that way, then don't use any automated translation.
It would change the whole context of your content.
But, if you have a website from which you are trying to make money just by showing the advertisement to your users then you can use them.

Google Input Tools makes it easy to type in the language you choose, anywhere on the web.
