Some body is talking about the utility of the Domain age. Is it a factor for the PR?

Domain age has nothing to do with PR... PR gets influenced with backlinks only.
If you have a 10 year old parked domain (without any backlinks, reputation or credibility)... this will certainly not help you in driving any benefit from it. Its so very 1999ish strategy.

On the other hand, if you have a good reputed domain (no matter how old it is, may be 2 years or 3 years old or more) that will help you a lot in overall rankings of your website.

To some extent it do matter that how old is the domain age as it develops trust in itself but the most important thing is Proper SEO is the best way to gain PR.

No domain age is not a factor to achieve the Page Rank. I have a website which got PR1 & Google Search Page 2 within 1 week only with my SECRET SEO strategy because I approach SEO with a different way.

No there is no relation with the domain age and PR because if have a old domain then this can only help to the website to get the higher ranking into the search engine because Google trust these domains.

But with PR no relation Google distribute PR after checking the back links of the website and their PR and after that Google assigns PR to all the websites. Google has some other factors also for the ranking a website into the SERPs like content of the website, on-page optimization of the webiste and some other things as well.

It is a factor. In general, It is easier to rank for a keyword on an older domain name than a newer domain name if all things being equal. However, great content and the ability to generate inbound links and etc will win in the long run.
