Title: My website ranking dropped.
Post by: navidsatan on 07-08-2013, 08:44:18
Hi SEO Experts.

I am hoping someone could help me a bit here.

I was always on page 1 of google for my selected keywords "Wedding Favours".
but in the last 2-3 months I have been dropped down to page 8-10.

I revised my page titles and meta descriptions but still no improvements.

This is my page: http://goo.gl/5fLqv

I would appreciate if some of you could shine some light on this for me.

Thanks

I think you have used some services like spam rank , that creates back links by the help of software. I think if you are following this please stop this right away. Other wise you will get warning from Google and will be fined under its penguin panda updates. And please recheck the ranking of your keyword using http://ranktracker.brandzter.com/or you can use serp book for the same.

Your site is indexed, the problem is due to unnatural link building, you need to build natural links for better result, don't build links too fast.. build slow links naturally, vary anchor text, use as many methods of link building as you can this would make more natural.

Always try to use only quality and relevant sites for better result I would say.

It may be due to the spamming contents. Remove backlinks with the same description and contents

Fluctuation on page rank for your site is a sign of your competitors are strong with that keyword and they are going through proper strategy to promote that keyword. What we can do is, just make few long phrases for that keyword and update your backlinks for those keyword regularly.Backlink should be quality back links only ,do not focus on quantity back links.

I saw your website, it is good and will again rank according to your desire. As you are already aware that Google has been updated its algorithm and this is the result of that. You are not alone for these kind of situations. By the way, analyze the website (do onpage analysis) and do activity over high PR sites. Use fresh content and wait for some time, It will be all right within months. If got confused, hire an SEO expert for the same.   >:D

Fluctuation in search engine ranking is a common, it happens a lots of time because Google regularly updates its algorithms and so if in between you have created some unnatural links then your ranking will get down a bit. You need to remove those spammy and unnatural links first, then build some quality and natural links.

I think number of spammy links got increased for your websites, and you may have got hit for that, so I think you should first find such links and remove them as early as possible.

I believe we should not worry about website ranking.  Always content is the king about our website. So you can write unique content and post it regularly then you will be again top of the search engine.

Don't worry.

This is a common thing friend, it happens because Google regularly updates its algorithms and if backlinks created by you fell lesser than the criteria set by the Google for backlink quality then they are going to remove those links which affect your ranking.

your global search place 32
your United Kingdom search place 23

you have about 3000 backlinks, 15% of your anchor text (which is like keyword) is "caesars wedding favours"(it may be naked domain name itself), which is not good to rank for wished keyword "wedding favours", comapring it is just 2%
If you can, just change the anchor text of your keywords, and google should rank better your web, who was doing seo for you?
I can not understand why people try to rank with keyword, which nobody looks for? Brand name is not keyword, brand name apears in search itself, when people start linkking to your site.
