First of all , you should create profiles in the most popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram.
In my opinion, Facebook anf Twitter are the best networks  for promoting your business.
In Facebook, besides your personal profile, you can create a fan page or  a product page where people can get know better your products or services. You can engage people by posting different interesting information, funny pictures , videos (also about your products).
Twitter is also good for promoting your business. You can post pistures of oyur products or other interesting content that will engage people. You can follow many people per day. In turn , the will follow you if your  content will be interesting to them.

1.Design attractive infographics for profiles and cover photos on popular social media platforms.
2.What to post where is important. e.g linkedIn is strictly for professional content, instagram mostly for photos & short clips, twitter for instant thoughts (tweets)
3.Create a community, discuss issues, etc (Interaction is important)
4.Increase followers by sharing creative & relevant content (keep this up and followers will automatically grow)
