Strange not seing this topic here

As Matt Cutts said it started yesterday 22.05
It's the 4th serious update. Experts say main aim of current update - unnatural backlinks. Most possible new algorithm will give penalty to sites with more than 50% artificial links.

Give your thoughts here about it...

Hi,
I was affected with the penguin 2.0 algorithm. I just realized it when I saw the search for my blog drop from the 5th to the 15th position (2nd page)

However, I don't understand what could cause this problema, as I only use white hat actions to increase my ranking.
The impact was detected with the "Nova York" keyword on the following site: newbielink:http://visitarnovayork.com [nonactive]

How can I know what is causing this impact?
I would appreciate any help.

Regards

Don't like your backlinks profile.
"nova york", "visitar nova york" are not so natural anchors to be in top for anchor frequency - this is about penguin 2.0
Its too many backlinks for so young site.
Moreover seems to be your site has overspammed "nova york" keyword in content

Anyway you positions can turn back soon - maybe just fluctuation. Wait for some time.

Penguin 2.0 hit too many websites very badly but the update is all about the spammy links, if you remove low quality links then the chances of recovering from the updates increases.
If your website was affected with the update then check backlinks via downloading sheet from Google webmaster and other backlinking tools to identify which links are spammy and try to remove them if possible, otherwise use disavow tool.

It has been just under a week since Google Penguin 2.0 (#4) was released and I wanted to gauge in an anonymous poll how SEOs and webmasters were impacted.

With Penguin 1.0, 64% claimed they were hurt by that update. There were very few recoveries since.

The interesting thing, with Penguin 2.0, I barely saw anyone claim a recovery from Penguin 1.0. I've seen a ton of SEOs and webmasters complain they were hit but I don't think I've seen anyone claim a recovery.

So check your analytics, restrict the reporting to only show Google organic traffic. Look to see if you had a major decline in Google traffic after May 22nd (it was pushed out May 22nd at night). Note, there was the Memorial Day weekend, which may impact traffic. But if you were hit by Penguin, you would see a huge decline in traffic. If you recovered, you'd see a huge increase in traffic.

Here is my poll, I beg you, tell your friends and colleague and even enemies to take the poll. I'll share the results with every soon:

Basically you are right. But how it contradicts with the poll? You can choose "none" if you are not affected.
