It is possible but you need to make sure that you will cite where the original content comes from. Why not do article spinning?

Hi Friends,
You should submit to many sites by modify the content to some extent. But it is not suggestible to submit same content to many sites.  Google will penalize for duplicate content.

Duplicate content is content that appears on the Internet in more than one place (URL). When there are multiple pieces of identical content on the Internet, it is difficult for search engines to decide which version is more relevant to a given search query. To provide the best search experience, search engines will rarely show multiple duplicate pieces of content and thus, are forced to choose which version is most likely to be the original—or best.

Article sharing is usually done on multiple sites, provided that the sites accept duplicate articles.
In case, if the website requires unique articles only then you have to drop this idea.

Well, it is better if we publish unique content only else it may be considered as content spamming.

The only situations where it makes sense is where the site has its own significant readership, and doesn't rely too much on search engines. Even then, putting a 'First published in X on Y, reproduced with permission' on the article to prove it's a reproduction is common practice.
