Does anyone know an optimal download speed for a website page?
Would anyone share how far does Google reduce search results through slow loading website pages?
And I would also like to know how to speed up website pages loading?

Thanks in advance

From my experience Google takes website speed very serious. It can make the difference between rank 4 and rank 1 on Google.
So it's never wrong to invest a little extra money in a better server, if you feel that your site speed is not fast enough.

Well, In my view, you should approach for the best server to loading the website page. The reason behind this, Google is very serious about the website pages loading. You need to also pay an attention over the website optimization for getting a better rank in SERP.

Mainly images causes problems for website to load. Remove all unnecessary images which are not required, this will reduce load time.  It's faster to load one image of 200KB than to load 10 images of 20 KB each, so take care to prune images to better the visitor experience and speed up load time.

Find a a superfast server before buying a domain mainly in the country of origin, then optimise your website, expect <0.5 secs.

If your website is not responsive and not optimized according to the Google's algorithms then it won't get ranked in it quickly and because of this your site would lose the authority to get positioned in Google pages as well. So, optimize your website and make its user friendly so that it can reload quickly and won't dislikes by its viewers.
