LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing. The contents of a webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collated and identified as the keywords for the page. LSI looks for synonyms related to the title of your page. For example, if the title of your page was "Classic Cars", the search engine would expect to find words relating to that subject in the content of the page as well, i.e. "collectors", "automobile", "Bentley", "Austin" and "car auctions".

Latent semantic indexing (LSI) is an indexing and retrieval method that uses a mathematical technique called singular value decomposition (SVD) to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text. LSI is based on the principle that words that are used in the same contexts tend to have similar meanings. A key feature of LSI is its ability to extract the conceptual content of a body of text by establishing associations between those terms that occur in similar contexts.

LSI keywords (Latent Semantic Indexing) are basically keywords that are semantically related to your primary keyword. Contrary to popular belief, they are NOT just synonym or keywords that are similar in meaning.

LSI Keywords are essentially keywords related to the keyword that you search for on search engines such as Google.

LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing which means keywords related to the keywords that you are searching for, and Google does this by using a system known as LSI.

For example when you search for "best cars" on Google, its LSI keywords can be "best sport cars", "best cars 2015", "most expensive cars", "best cars of all time" etc.

LSI Keywords are essentially keywords related to the keyword that you search for on search engines such as Google. In a nutshell, they are keywords that are semantically linked to your main keyword.

Agreed....! Don't use exact anchor text in your strategies; it shows natural way of marketing and if we talk about LSI keywords, it's totally worthy aspect for SEO.

LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing and the same LSI keyword always shown at the end of Search Result in Google; it's also known as Suggested keywords from Google. By using these LSI keywords in Your content as a Anchor Text is really great aspect to increase your SEO strategies.

You must use 2 to 3 relevant LSI keywords in your content. Really awesome thing for Internet marketing.
