I have heard 2 terms Negative SEO and Reverse SEO? But i am confused in between these 2 terms, as the name suggest "Negative SEO", it is clear that it is not a Good Practice, so why it is referred so many times, is there any influence of it?

There is a rules in this world which you must use to continue living to keep your reputation clear. I mean there are a lot of things you can use in seo to rise up quickly, maybe during one month you will be in top 5 by several keywords leading to 3 pages website with poor content. Comparing another website which was trying to rank 10 years the same keywords using legal methods. So that is why google algorhytm works. If you do not have to offer just your affiliate and advertising, which is not valuable, do not try to jump other competitors(in keywords) using negative seo methods.

The same example in life. There are alot of printed money in the bank, but you can not print by yourself or rob it, it will lead to prison. You have to earn money in legal ways

Negative SEO refers to the follow of using black hat and unethical techniques to sabotage a competitor's rankings in search engines.  It's refers to when one website buys links and points them at a competitor's website in an attempt to effect their rankings.

Negative seo means black hat seo and also spamming. your site can go in spam. you don't follow to negative seo because it is not good according to google's rule.

In fact if you building backlinks even with "hands"- I could name it spam. So difference between spam and not spam is like you are in real discussions, real blog comments and etc. These usual phrases like "this blog amazing" or "your blog is awesome, goto mysite.com" are spam, so earlier or later google will decide" hey this webmaster is using black hat we need to punish him by kicking of index"
