To connect your Google AdWords account with Google Analytics, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account.

2. Click on the Admin tab at the bottom left corner.

3. In the middle column, under the Property column, click on "AdWords Linking".

4. Click on the "+ New Link Group" button to create a new link between AdWords and Analytics.

5. Choose the AdWords account you want to link from the drop-down menu.

6. Enable the "Link Configuration" toggle.

7. In the Link Configuration section, select the views (website profiles) that you want to associate with your AdWords account.

8. Set the "Data Sharing Settings" as per your preferences.

9. Click on "Link Accounts" to complete the process.

Once the link is established, you will be able to see AdWords data within your Google Analytics account, allowing you to analyze the performance of your AdWords campaigns more effectively.

Here are some additional details on linking your Google AdWords account with Google Analytics:

1. Ensure you have administrative access to both your Google AdWords and Google Analytics accounts before starting the linking process.

2. Make sure your Google AdWords and Google Analytics accounts use the same email address. If they don't, you'll need to grant access to the appropriate email addresses in both accounts.

3. Once the linking is complete, Google Analytics will automatically start importing data from your Google AdWords account, such as clicks, cost, conversions, and other metrics.

4. The linking allows you to view AdWords data within Google Analytics reports under the "Acquisition" section, giving you insights into campaign performance, audience behavior, and conversion tracking.

5. You can create custom reports and set up goals within Google Analytics that leverage the AdWords data, helping you make more informed decisions and optimize your advertising campaigns.

If the 2 accounts are on the same accesses (similar email and login), the connection will be done without any problem and in an intuitive way, moreover GA proposes it almost automatically.
If the two accounts do not have the same access, for reasons due to a history or a remote management (case of Adwords multi-account center), it will be necessary from the account "master" administrator, in ga, to authorize access to the Adwords account concerned on the GA account, in user management by adding the Adwords management email address.
