Yes, the webpage extension can have an impact on SEO, though it is not the sole determinant. The webpage extension refers to the suffix at the end of a URL, such as .com, .org, .net, or country-specific domain extensions like .uk or .fr.

Here are a few ways in which webpage extensions can affect SEO:

1. Credibility and Trust: Some extensions, like .org or .edu, are often associated with more trustworthy and authoritative websites. These extensions may carry more weight with search engines and users seeking reliable information.

2. Local SEO: Using country-specific extensions, such as .uk or .fr, can help with local search engine optimization by indicating the website's relevance to specific geographic regions. It can improve visibility for location-based searches.

3. User Perception: The webpage extension can influence user perception and behavior. Users might have certain expectations or biases based on the extension they see. For instance, a commercial website using a .org extension may make users question its credibility.

However, it's important to note that while webpage extensions can influence SEO to some extent, other factors, such as relevant content, backlinks, site structure, and user experience, are also crucial for good ranking on search engine results pages (SERPs). Ultimately, the quality and relevance of your website's content and how well it satisfies user intent are more critical factors for SEO success.

Yes webpage extensions will perform the better seo. Through the webpage extensions we can get more traffic then there is change in the alexa ranking and users flow. When user flow is good our website peroformance will be awesome

When creating your website, the choice of your domain extension, or TLD, is important as it can impact your SEO performances. ... Features like domain-level keyword and domain extension have a low correlation to search rankings, but they still have. And they are still in front of social metrics like Twitter

Google has said more times than anyone can count that the TLD of a website does not matter at all and also said that the domain name of a website does not matter at all. The only thing that matters is the content on a website and its engagement metrics along with the number of backlinks.

The ONLY time a TLD matters is if you choose one of the country-specific ones. Google has said that those will be used for geo-targeting - https://webmasters.googleblog.com/20...top-level.html

Webpage extensions won't dierctly affect SEO but to some extent "Yes"!!!

For example, a Keyword which ranks on the first page in the .com.br domain might show some different ranking in the .co.in or .com domain.
