Hi Guys,

I am seeing only 1 indexed URL in Google Search Console (earlier Google Webmaster Tool)

See screenshot here:

Indexd pages start dropping dramatically after 20-Aug-2017

See screenshot here:

XML site also submitted many times after 20-Aug-2017 but indexed pages could not be increased (You can see it in 1st screenshot above)

I checked robots.txt file but could not found any issue.

See screenshot here

No blocked URL in in Google Search console

See screenshot here

When we check indexed pages through google search (eg. site:google . com) we can see 131 pages

See screenshot here

if we check total indexed pages in Google through some SEO tools then we get different results:

seochat: 76

pingler: 97

northcutt: 106

Can anybody help me out ?

What else I can do?

Hi,

I need more details about your indexing. because, Search engines will take some time to show your pages If you fetched your url's properly. Else you need to remove your website from search console and want to add it again. while adding, confirm your http / https or www / non - www website urls could be same what you have exactly in your website. Finally Confirm your search console property website URL & sitemap URL's.Because It should be same in both. otherwise robots will not crawl your web pages in search engines.

If you are experiencing a significant drop in indexed pages in Google Search Console, there could be several factors at play. Here are a few suggestions for troubleshooting:

1. Ensure that your sitemap is properly submitted and up to date. A sitemap helps search engines understand the structure of your website and can aid in indexing all your pages.
2. Verify that your website is accessible by search engine crawlers. Double-check your robots.txt file to make sure it doesn't block any important pages or directories.
3. Check for any technical issues like server errors, slow loading times, or duplicate content that may impact indexing.
4. Review your website's internal link structure. Make sure that all relevant pages are properly linked to help search engines discover and index them.
5. Monitor your website for any security issues or malware that may affect indexing.

Regarding your question about seeing all indexed pages in Google Search Console, it's important to note that the data provided in the Index Coverage report may not include every single page indexed by Google. The report focuses on providing insights into any issues with indexing and coverage. To see a more comprehensive list of indexed pages, you can use the "site:" operator in Google Search, as you mentioned earlier (e.g., "site:yourwebsite.com"). Keep in mind that this method might not display every page indexed, but it can give you a rough idea.
