Google tag manager, google analytics and google webmaster tool (now its called google search console) are very good digital marketing tool used to track website performance. All the three tools are used for different purpose.

1. Google webmaster tool (or Google search console): It is a tool used to track issues, performance of  the website. Ii is used to check page experience, backlinks, mobile friendly check,  schema testing, website security check, website performance as per keywords

2. Google analytics: This tool is used to track the visitors. You can track the visitors metrics like source of traffic, their location, their devices, their behavior, the channel used to find your website

3.  Google tag manager: It is very good tool. You can track everything using a single piece of code. Google tag manager is used with google analytics tool to track the event made by the users.
