Hi guys,
Recently, I decided to turn off my AMP because it appear errors in my Search console. Do you think it is a bad idea?

Hi

I would say, that if you're only using an amp 1-3 hrs a day, turn it off.  Otherwise, you're potentially wasting a lot of power, and tubes do wear even while the amp is on but not being used.

I don't think it will affect your rankings or website traffic, but keep a close eye on Google rankings and Google Analytics to be safe for the rest of this month. If nothing drops, you should be good to leave it off.

If it is a service page / product page, its not recommended to to use AMP.

But it will not affect blog post.

AMP will reduce the loading speed but it loose the quality of the website. If your website is a eCommerce website or having lots of web-pages i prefer to use AMP.

I've read that amps perform best after they have warmed up which can take 15 or 20 minutes.  I've also read that the on/off cycle is the most traumatic event for the amplifier and shortens the amps life.  Therefore, it might be prudent to never turn it off.

For ecommerce website it is always better to have Amp as website loading time increases.

AMP version of a website is good, as it optimize the user experience of mobile users, with fast speed and quick loading of website. If you will disable AMP version, then you will see some not found errors in Google, hope you take care of those errors, if you are removing AMP version of your website.
