Hello Guys,

As I have done the complete R&D related to 1st August algorithm updates and finally get to know that, this algorithm is affecting YMYL websites or related to medical websites. But why my eCommerce website's ranking is going down? I am working with a2zweddingcards.com which is e-Commerce website related to wedding invitations. I have done with all the seo tasks. On-page and off page.

Now I have no clue what should I do to recover this. Keyword ranking is drooping frequently and the sessions are decreasing. so please help me how can I go with the stability of keyword rankings?

Your comment would be really appreciable !!

I understand your concern about the drop in keyword rankings and sessions on your eCommerce website, a2zweddingcards.com, despite your efforts in SEO tasks. It's important to note that algorithm updates, like the one you mentioned on 1st August, can have broader impacts on search results and not just limited to YMYL (Your Money Your Life) or medical websites. Algorithm updates can affect various types of websites, including eCommerce sites like yours.

Here are some steps you can take to work on the stability of your keyword rankings:

1. **Algorithm Research**: Continue to monitor industry news and updates regarding search engine algorithms. Sometimes, it takes time for the full impact of an update to be understood. Stay informed about any changes that might be affecting your website.

2. **Review Your SEO Strategy**:
   - Revisit your on-page and off-page SEO strategies. Make sure your content is high-quality, relevant, and up-to-date.
   - Check for any technical SEO issues on your website, such as broken links, slow loading times, or mobile-friendliness problems. Address these issues promptly.
   - Ensure that your website is optimized for both users and search engines, with proper meta tags, headings, and structured data.

3. **Content Quality**: Focus on providing valuable and unique content related to wedding invitations. Consider creating blog posts or articles that can attract potential customers. High-quality, informative content can help improve your website's authority and rankings.

4. **User Experience (UX)**:
   - Enhance the user experience on your website. Ensure that it's easy to navigate, mobile-friendly, and loads quickly.
   - Optimize your product pages with clear images, descriptions, and user reviews.

5. **Keyword Research**: Reevaluate your keyword strategy. Are there new keywords or long-tail keywords you can target? Ensure that your content is aligned with the keywords your target audience is using.

6. **Backlink Profile**: Examine your backlink profile and disavow any toxic or spammy backlinks. Focus on acquiring high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites.

7. **Social Media and Engagement**: Utilize social media platforms to engage with your audience and promote your products. Building an active social media presence can drive traffic to your website.

8. **Analytics and Tracking**: Continuously monitor your website's performance using tools like Google Analytics. Identify which pages are losing traffic and focus on improving them.

9. **Competitor Analysis**: Analyze your competitors in the wedding invitations niche. Identify what they are doing differently and see if you can incorporate successful strategies into your own approach.

10. **Patience and Persistence**: SEO results can take time to materialize, especially after algorithm updates. Be patient, keep refining your strategies, and adapt to changing circumstances.

11. **Local SEO**: If your business serves a specific geographic area, focus on local SEO. Ensure that your website is optimized for local searches by creating a Google My Business listing and encouraging customer reviews.

12. **Structured Data Markup**: Implement structured data markup (Schema.org) on your product pages to provide search engines with additional information about your products. This can enhance your search results with rich snippets and improve click-through rates.

13. **Mobile Optimization**: With the increasing use of mobile devices, make sure your website is fully responsive and provides an excellent user experience on smartphones and tablets.

14. **Site Speed Optimization**: Page load speed is a crucial factor for both user experience and search rankings. Compress images, minimize HTTP requests, and use browser caching to improve your site's speed.

18. **Monitor and Adjust**: Continuously monitor your website's performance, including keyword rankings, traffic sources, and conversion rates. Use this data to make informed adjustments to your SEO and marketing strategies.
