For an users to identify which page it is you need to provide the relevance keyword in the URL in-order to make it simple, Google will consider shorter Keyword relevancy and rank your page higher. Along with URL even Title and description must also should be relevant to the content of the page

it should be easy to read both of user and search engine crawler so it can help to get higher rank in search engine, it should be proper according to the page, you should put your primary keywords in URL so it would be beneficial for ranking in the search engine. it should be shorter and better. poor URL may lose your search engine rank.

Yes, it is good practice to include keyword in URL. Including the keyword in the URL slug (that's the bit that appears after the ".com/"part of the URL) is said to send another relevancy signal to Google. It affects ranking factor.

Although URLs can include ID numbers and codes, the best practice is to use words that ... specifies the location of a resource (such as a web page) on the internet. ... (Worth noting: Google has increasingly been replacing the URL within the ... the overall domain itself, keyword use in a URL can also act as a ranking factor.

SEO Friendly URLs (or search engine friendly URLs) are clean, relevant and easy to understand addresses of pages on your website – and the destination you see in the browser address bar on most modern browsers.

Do you need keywords in URLs to rank high in Google in 2018?

No.

While I wouldn't necessarily rip apart a site structure JUST to change URLs, it is the case that often poorly thought out website page URLs are a sign of other, less obvious sloppy SEO, and if a big clean up is called for, then I would consider starting from what is a basic SEO best practice and use search engine friendly URLs.
