In three way link building you will need to have three participating websites that all link back to one another. For example, you have website X and give your link to a similar website Y that then passes their link onto website Z, which then in turn sets up your link which leads right back to your website X.

Better do more research on this. I have read elsewhere that Google's algorythm's likely look for such patterns and will either devalue the links or if abused, penalize such sites. The 3 way linking has been done a while and I would be shocked if Google has not taken steps to negate whatever benefits it may have once had.

3 Way link building is a technique in which site a has got a link from site b and instead of giving a reciprocal link the owner of site a has given a link to site b on some other site named site c or x.

A three-way link exchange refers to a kind of reciprocal link exchange among three domains instead of two. A reciprocal link exchange that is so popular today among webmasters is mostly a two-way linking.

A three-way link exchange refers to a kind of reciprocal link exchange among three domains instead of two. The way to create more natural links in a three-way link exchange is done by using a set of three one-way links. A, B, and C are only receiving one-way links, and they do not directly link back.
Example : Doamin A -> Domain B,Domain B -> Domain C, Domain C -> Domain A

Three-ways of link exchange are the exchange of links between three different websites. For example: Suppose website 'A' link to website 'B' and website 'B' link to the website 'C' and 'C' to 'A', They form a link crossing to exchange their links to each other.
